The Hydra line has two instruments built around square rubber profiles — mass, edge, concentrated force. The Breath uses round cord instead. The difference is not subtle. Round cord lands differently: more surface contact per tail, sensation that spreads rather than concentrates, impact that settles into the body in waves rather than arriving all at once.

Forty-six of them simultaneously.

Lighter in individual weight than the Hydra. Heavier in cumulative presence. A flogger that rewards tempo — the kind of instrument that builds a scene rather than ending it.

R&D — Why this one is different

This is the first prototype of the Breath.

Deep glacial blue — the only color that exists right now, because this piece exists to test the formulation: round rubber, extended tail count, revised balance point. One piece in the world that carries this exact configuration.

When the Breath passes testing and enters full production, the price will rise. This is the introductory price for the instrument in its earliest form — offered to someone who understands what that means.

The construction

Tails: 46 round rubber cords, 55 cm, 3 mm diameter. More tails than the Venom, different profile entirely. The round cross-section is the experiment — and the result is a flogger with its own distinct character in the line.

Handle: Stainless steel with polished beech wood grip, 20 cm. The same anchor as the rest of the Hydra line.

Loop: PVC hanging loop.

Color: Deep glacial blue. First prototype only.
